Getting started

Maps N Trax is a powerful mobile app for viewing and interacting with your own maps on your iPhone, iPad or other iOS device.  It is highly customizable and works with a number of different map file types. We will do our best to help you become familiar with Maps N Trax.  Most orientation questions are answered in our online Maps N Trax User Guide.

General inquiries

If you wish to contact us directly regarding general Maps N Trax related issues or inquiries, contact us via email at us@rocketsplashgames.com.  Please note that at this time we provide support in English only.

Product support

If you have specific support questions regarding product performance or to report bugs, please include the following details in your communication to us:

• Your device type (eg, iPhone, iPad, iPod) and model (eg, 4GS).
• Version number of Maps n Trax (displayed at the top of the Settings View).
• Detailed step-by-step description of how to replicate the problem.
• Description of what happened that should not have happened (including exact text of any error messages).
• Expectation of what should have happened that did not happen.
• Any relevant screenshots (press home/reset buttons simultaneously to save screenshot to camera roll).
• Any related documents (eg, map or track zip files).

IMPORTANT:  For any support inquiries regarding specific maps or specific tracks, you MUST supply the files with your support request either as an email attachment or by a web URL/link.  For maps, please supply the complete .zip file including all relevant image and calibration files.  If the file(s) are too big for email and you do not already have somewhere on the web that you can upload files to, please consider opening an account at Dropbox (or similar service) and uploading to there.  You can then send a link to the file in Dropbox.

Note: Any inquiries about specific maps or tracks that do not include the relevant files (or links to the files) will not receive support until the files have been received.
