Start with a 8×3 base of Quartz Slabs hovering over the ground. Place a single Slab on one end; this will be the front end of the LAAT.

On the back end make a set of Quartz Slab steps; you need four sets with a row of 3 Iron Blocks at the top.

On the front-end of the base make a 2 block high doorway on both sides of the base. Be sure there are two blocks on the frond end of the doorway.

Place another block on the doorway, extend the blocks all the way to the tail.

On top of this row of Iron Blocks place another row 6 blocks long on both sides.

On the out side of the back end place 5 Quartz Slabs in a stair design. On the bottom Slab stack 3 Iron Blocks up and 5 blocks across. This should connect to the top Quartz Slab; place a single Iron Block on the middle Slab. Stick a Fence Post in the opening.

On the 3 Iron Blocks in the back center place Quartz Stairs. Place 2 more rows of Quartz Stairs to the top.

At the top place two sets of stairs on each side, this should connect to the other stairs. On the other end place 3 more Stairs to make the design in the image below.

On the front end of this design place 3 Slabs.

Place another Slab in the cent gap between the two Iron Blocks. From the Slab place 2 Red Wool Blocks with two more Slabs on each side of the Red Wool Blocks.

Down from the Red Wool Blocks place 2 Glass Blocks and more Slabs on either side of the Glass Block.

Place two Quartz Slab extending toward the front with Yellow Wool Blocks underneath the front Slab.

Between the Slabs place a Red Wool Block with a Glass Block.

Place an Iron Block in the front and center of the Yellow Wool Blocks and a Glass Block underneath each Yellow Wool Block. From the Glass Blocks extend two Fence Gates facing outward.

At the top fill in the opening with two Iron Blocks. On each side of the Quartz Blocks you will make two big rows of blocks. From the back to the front it should be as follows: Red Wool, Black Wool, Quartz, 2 Red Wool, 2 Quartz, 2 Red Wool, Black Wool with a Trap Door.

From the bottom you will then place 3 Red Wool outward from the two Red Wool from the row above.

Now place 4 Quartz Slabs across the Red Wool Bocks.

Continue building a stair design with Quartz Slabs around the Red Wool.

There should be 4 Rows of 4 Quartz Slabs and then on the 5th row place 3 Slabs 4 rows down.

On the back Place two Fence Gates outward and your all finished.

You can place a Glass Block on each side with a Fence Gate for the turrets.
