Today I’ll be talking about a subject I’ve always had a gift for…

Example: You start a Minecraft server and you need to find all the glitches, how do you find them? Where are all the places they can be hiding? What are some common glitches or errors most server owners have? We will be going through how to find them/fix them!

First of all is the one I’m best with is the “Shop”, almost every server has a shop to buy and sell goods at… or maybe a command to buy and sell… or maybe both… how do you find the glitches? Here is how I try and find these glitches! You must know what makes almost every item in the game… if you don’t, We have Google for a reason! So if you do know most of the items crafting recipe, then this is the next step! Come on your server as a noob, very little money (like a $1000) and try any way possible without selling items that were collected… unless you need more money!

How many glitches can you find in each shop? Recently I went on a Minecraft server and found 5-8 glitches… 3 of which you could make money on, just by buying (then crafting) and selling… the others were things like buying sign when it should be selling… or just a price that should be higher… after I thought I found all the glitches my brother came online (Glitch finding apprentice : ) And found a small glitch which should have been small but turned out to be wrong ID on the sign… so you could buy lapis lazuli blocks on one side of the shop (should not have been blocks!) and sell at the other end for a $230 Profit, to put that in perspective… Diamonds cost $125 Per!

The lesson we can learn from this is, make sure you have the Right ID and when you put in Diamond for a price make sure the diamond block is the same (x9) so there is no room for error… another way to block glitches in shop, is just have no sell signs… I don’t like when servers do this, but is a way to block shop glitches!

For my next glitch area I’m going to talk about plugin errors, Plugin error are more deadly to a server when they are discovered my server has had a Creative world glitch, that people could bring in anything from creative (bedrock, super enchants Etc.) they would go into creative world, get the stuff… ”/ma  j” to join mob arena when they would leave they would be teleported to the real world with the items! (this glitch isn’t fun for any owner) so one way to fix this is to block commands in a world with “world guard” another glitch I’ve found was with one of the Jobs plugins… Just find some sugar cane get the farmer job and chop and place sugar cane (giving you money and Job XP! This one has been patched by many servers/plugins but another glitch on the same plugin goes like this. Join a job that gives money for chopping a block instantly! (Like farmer for sugar cane etc) find minigame/something that doesn’t allow you to chop blocks and jump out of it… then find a place with the block that gives money and chop it!

So how do you block it? Just make sure all your minigames and things are boxed in!
