Eye of Ender<\/span><\/p>\n

In order to activate an End Portal you\u2019ll need Eyes of Ender, key word being Eyes, plural. Obtaining an Eye of Ender is not as it would seem, it sounds like you simply go kill an Enderman and grab his eyes. Eye of Ender is a craft-able item not droppable.

\nIn order to get an Eye of Ender you first need two specific items; Blaze Powder and a Ender Pearl. Once you have these two items you can craft an Eye of Ender by placing them in a crafting table.<\/p>\n

Item #1 Blaze Powder<\/span><\/p>\n

You\u2019ll need to head into the Nether and find some Blaze, kill them and they\u2019ll drop Blaze Rods.<\/p>\n

1 Blaze Rod = 2 Blaze Powder<\/p>\n

So throw the Blaze Rods into a crafting table to obtain some Blaze Powder.<\/p>\n

Item #2 Ender Pearl<\/span><\/p>\n

Time to go hunting for some Endermen, yes instead of dropping eyes Endermen drop Ender Pearls.<\/p>\n

Crafting Time!<\/span><\/p>\n

Be sure to grab a decent amount of Blaze Powder and Ender Pearls (enough for at least 11 Eyes of Ender) because your going to need more than 1 Eye of Ender to activate the End Portal. Place both the Blaze Powder and Ender Pearl in a Crafting Table side by side and you\u2019ll get an Eye of Ender.<\/p>\n

End Portal<\/span><\/p>\n

When your ready equip an Eye of Ender and then click to throw it, the Eye will fly up into the sky heading in a specific direction. You need to follow the Eye as it guids you to the End Portal.<\/p>\n

The End Portal is located in an underground Stronghold, which is randomly generated with each map. When the Eye is above the Stronghold it will shoot down into the ground. Note once you throw the Eye of Ender you need to pick it back up or you will lose it. You must re-throw the Eye as it only flies so far each time, and always keep your eye on the eye.<\/p>\n

Once the Eye of Ender indicates the location of the Stronghold go ahead and start digging until you find it. The End Portal will be sitting above a pool of lava, head up the stairs taking out the Silverfish spawner and placing the required number of Eyes in the slots. The End Portal has 12 slots for 12 Eyes of Ender but there are usually 1\u20144 already in the portal.<\/p>\n
